Departure to Thuborbo Majus.In Tuburbou Majus, there are to be found ruins of a wonderful Roman city with its villas.
We will visit winter & summer baths, the hunting villa, the theatre, temple and above all, these curious Capitol, with their impressive mosaics and their arches around the market.
Continue to Dougga, stop for lunch then you’ll discover what are widely held to be the best ruins in all of Tunisia. In addition to Roman and Byzantine structures, Dougga also has a pre-Carthaginian mausoleum. The town was actually inhabited until the 1950’s when the locals were relocated down the road to Nouvelle Dougga in an effort to preserve the ruins.
At the end of the day transfer back to your hotel.
